Radiohead's video without cameras

Radiohead have made a music video for new single House Of Cards using 3D images and lasers instead of cameras.

The result was then scanned into a computer and the result mixed together using special software.

Data from the video will also be made available to Radiohead fans so they can make their own short clips.

The band are well known for using new technology, most recently allowing fans to choose how much they paid for their latest album In Rainbows.

Frontman Thom Yorke said: "I always like the idea of using technology in a way that it wasn't meant to be used, the struggle to get your head round what you can do with it.

"I liked the idea of making a video of human beings and real life and time without using any cameras, just lasers, so there are just mathematical points - and how strangely emotional it ended up being."

The new video will premiere on Google early next week.
